The poem placed here, so you don't stress going to Instagram.
Please still go there after reading this post!😂

This is an explanation to few of my lines in the acrostic poem titled Sounds of Living Waters.

You can view it at: https://instagram.com/wordsofnimrod_?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA==

A double entendre is a phrase or expression that has two meanings. It's like a play on words where the speaker intends to convey a straightforward message, but there's a subtle and often humorous second meaning that can be interpreted differently.

But trust me, my second meaning is not even close to being humorous.

The third line reads:

Under our feet, soles weep as they are burnt up.

....soles (souls) weep as they are burnt up.

Even as I mentioned soles, even souls suffer from the lack of living water. Souls are in a low state when they are refreshed consistently by the living water.

The twelfth line reads:

Yearning for the waters, as hearts yearn for the Blood.

...as hearts yearn for the Blood.

I'm not a medic, but I think if we had no blood, the usefulness of the heart wouldn't be so pronounced( I can be corrected).

Aside from the remission or cleansing of sins, the Blood;

Brings protection: Of course, since Jesus is referred to as our Passover Lamb (1Cor 5:7, Exo 12: 21-23)

Brings authority and deliverance: ...and they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb... (Rev 12:11)

Brings healing: Isa 53:5

Brings Peace: Roms 5:1, Heb 9:14.

So your Heart spiritually needs the Blood.

I've turned what is double entendre to Bible Study...😂

Bonus: The poem is an acrostic poem, it's my favorite. I learnt it from reading David, even before I realized it in the literature bank.
